A metropolitan magistrate’s court in Mumbai on Tuesday issued summons to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on a complaint filed by a BJP member for allegedly “disrespecting” the national anthem at a public function in Mumbai last month.
With the count of new coronavirus cases in Mumbai declining, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) allowed all tourist locations, restaurants and theatres to operate or remain open with 50 per cent occupancy.
